Ferrari F40
No car better sums up the 1980s supercar boom than the Ferrari F40. Its combination of aggressive styling, towering performance and outstanding handling saw it hailed as one of the greats of the era. But it also benefited from the speculative boom in supercar values that drove up demand to unsustainable levels. More than 1300 F40s were produced during the three years that it was in production, making it one of the highest volume ultimate supercars.
